ACCOMPLISHMENTS

My mom has accused me of not actually using this blog to tell anyone about my life and the accomplishments that I have done. It's true, I do use this blog more for a display of the fun things I get to do and pictures I like to take (obviously).

So, here are some of the things that I have done/accomplished this year:

1) I completed a year-long process, including classes, papers, presentations, and practical experience to receive my ESL endorsement. (This qualifies me to teach students who have a language other than English as their first language.)

2) I have completed 2 classes of my masters core classes and ALL of the electives required for my masters in education.

3) I have 3 more days before my SECOND year of teaching is complete.

4) I CUT my hair really short for the first time in my life!

5) I have my OWN apartment. (Stained a table)

6) I finally got a REAL phone. : )

7) I have started running again (BLEH...my lungs just need to catch up to my legs).

I hope everyone feels involved in my accomplishments. ha ha. WOO! Love you guys!

Make-Up

I recently received a new makeup palette. It has four different color schemes. I usually stick to browns and shimmery golds, but I have been trying out new colors over this year. I have done greens, blues, pinks, blacks, and grays.

Today, I used pinks, purples and white with black eye-liner as an accent. I then used a light peach color on my cheek bones and sides of my eye bone. I finished with a mauve colored lip gloss.

In contrast, here is a brown style I've used in the past.

I know this isn't a makeup blog, but I just wanted to share some of my new finds. The next color I'm going to try is orange. ha ha. I don't remember the name of the palette, but I'll look and then update this blog. :)

Girl's Night OUT!

After a long week of CRT practice tests, frantically trying to make sure our students remember what we've taught this year, and gathering testing materials, we teachers were ready for some pampering and a girl's night out. First stop: Pedicures AND manicures.

One of the women came in the middle of our pedicures with new magazines. She laughed as we devoured the celebrity gossip and closed our eyes while they worked. ha ha.

PS this is Heather's wedding ring! It's not a joke either...this is the real deal. Ugh. It's only a size 5...so I felt obligated to give it back. ha ha. (I was wearing it while she put lotion on her hands.)

Needless to say: THESE GIRLS ARE FUNNNY!

We ate at Sweet Tomatoes. I loved having some quality-laugh-worthy-girl-talk!

After we ate we headed over to the mall to browse the local Victoria's Secret and Charlotte Russe.

Saw this right as we were parting ways and I think it definitely deserved a place on this post.
